

Program Coordinator
Reports to: Chief Operations Officer
Action In Motion, Inc. provides solutions to these issues, combating them with purposeful interventions in our communities. Organized as a nonprofit youth employment incubator, Action In Motion empowers youth and families through education, enrichment, and exposure, concentrating on economics, employment, and entrepreneurship. Initiatives include implementing a system of employment incubation, entrepreneurship and volunteerism for ages 14 - 25. Action In Motion seeks a Program Coordinator to provide coordination, administrative, and partnership development duties for the advancement of Action In Motion initiatives.
Program Coordinator responsibilities include:

Coordinate employment placement and training opportunities for AIM participants;

Recommend training and educational opportunities for the advancement of AIM participants;

In support of AIM community outreach events, recruit and coordinate sponsors, partners, and vendors for AIM events, working closely with Executive Team;

Recommend policies and procedures, conduct research, prepare reports based on recommendations of Executive Team;

Preparation of presentation materials and reports, editing content and adding appropriate graphic and design elements, to include creating basic web content and documents, i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel;

Compose and/or prepare correspondence, memoranda, reports, forms, and manuals appropriate word processing and spreadsheet tools;

Perform basic statistical calculations on data for reports and presentations;

Compile and maintain information that may require web or library researching, gathering, compiling, and updating data and records;

Assist with grant proposals, request for proposals, and related administrative documents;

Perform other coordination duties as required to support the mission and initiatives of Action In Motion, Inc.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Dedicated, self-motivated individual, entering at least senior year of college majoring in public administration, business administration, human services, social work, or related field;
Energetic and task oriented individual with at least 6 months experience in program coordination, community outreach, office management, community organizing, administrative management, research;
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office; superior customer service, written, and oral communication skills; detail-oriented, ability to multi-task; willingness to learn new skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Level education and at least 2 years experience in program coordination, community outreach, office management, community organizing, administrative management, research
